For the Kuniko’s Teriyaki redesign, I transformed a traditional menu into a vibrant, four-page experience inspired by Tokyo street art. My process began with a conceptual pivot toward urban energy, selecting a high-contrast palette of electric blue, purple, orange, and green to break away from the original aesthetic.
I prioritized typography by selecting a bold display typeface, which I then customized to achieve a unique, hand-painted "street" feel. After streamlining the content, I reorganized the layout across four distinct pages, balancing visual grit with readability to ensure the menu felt like a cohesive piece of modern Japanese subculture.
