1 out of 100 Customized Mongram Typography
For this monogram project, I explored the anatomical and conceptual relationship between the letterforms "T" and "D." The process was an intensive study in physical experimentation, where I produced 100 unique iterations of my initials using 100 different mediums and substrates. This tactile phase forced me to break down the skeletal structure of the characters, testing how various materials from fluid inks to rigid physical textures altered their legibility and interplay.
Once the final monogram was selected for its strong typographical harmony, I refined the design using Adobe Illustrator to ensure professional precision. To complete the assignment, I designed a 300 word typographic specimen and descriptive paragraph, meticulously typesetting the layout to reflect the same structural relationship and visual balance found in the monogram itself.
